Since 2004, the Detroit Women of Color, Inc. has distinguished itself from other local film festivals and programs through a focus on independent films that highlight the voices of girls, women, and people of color. We produced the Detroit Women of Color International Film Festival, the Sacred Waters Spirituality Film Festival, the 3Rs Progressive Film Festival, and the United States Social Forum Film Festival. In 2019 our critically acclaimed Detroit Women of Color International Film Festival returned.
